Job Description
Part–time Instructor of French – beginning August 17, 2026. The position includes teaching an elementary French language course each semester (French 100 – Fall 2026; French 101 – Spring 2027), either as regularly scheduled classes or directed studies. Candidates are expected to demonstrate evidence of teaching excellence and a sensitivity to and respect for diverse populations.

Qualifications- A Master's degree in French or a closely related Humanities discipline is required.
- Native or near‑native fluency in French and English.
- College‑level teaching experience and familiarity with communicative, proficiency and/or task‑based methodologies is highly desirable; preference will be given to candidates who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion and clearance of a background check and employment verification.
Salary Information- Adjunct Instructor (no terminal degree): $29.28 per hour
- Adjunct Professor (with terminal degree): $30.40 per hour
