Job Description

The Department of Leadership, Policy, and Human Development in the University of La Verne’s LaFetra College of Education invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach and mentor graduate and doctoral students across three programs: the M.S. in Child and Adolescent Development
, the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership
, and the Organizational Leadership Doctoral Program (Ed.D.). We are building a strong pool of instructors who share our commitment to ethical, culturally responsive leadership and who are eager to support working professionals through academically rigorous, practice-connected learning. The Educational Leadership Ed.D. is a stackable, two-year online program that culminates in a Problem of Practice (POP) grounded in applied research; the Organizational Leadership doctorate similarly blends leadership core and research coursework across a two-year cohort model focused on leadership theory, ethics, organizational development, and change, with research development spanning the purpose statement through methodology.

The Child and Adolescent Development master’s program maintains a year-round, continuous recruitment pool for part-time lecturers to teach graduate courses on an as-needed basis. If you’re passionate about these values, join us at the University of La Verne!

This department job posting includes several academic programs. Applicants will be added to the Adjunct Pool. You will be asked to indicate the SPECIFIC PROGRAM for which you are applying to teach courses and that you are qualified and/or have the credentials to work. There is also a question about courses you have taught or would be interested in teaching. Please be brief and concise.
