Job Description
- The University of La Verne is a private not-for-profit university founded in 1891 located in La Verne, California. The Rhetoric and Communication Studies Department will accept applications on an ongoing basis from individuals interested in assignments teaching part-time.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of courses including fundamentals of Public Speaking, Introduction to Communication Theory, Intercultural Communication, and Argumentation and Debate.
Required Qualifications
- Adjunct faculty candidates must have a Master's degree in Communication Studies from a regionally-accredited institution with teaching experience at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
