Work Schedule
- This part-time position is available for 4-20 hours per week of in-person work at La Verne Parent Participation Preschool. Schedule is flexible (within the hours of Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 12:30pm), in consultation with the Director. Some weekend and evening hours may be available intermittently for special events. Students must have reliable transportation to and from LVPPP in La Verne.

La Verne Parent Participation Preschool (LVPPP) is a non-profit, non-discriminatory family organization owned and operated by member families in the co-op tradition. LVPPP is looking for a Teacher's Aide who can support Teachers in developing curriculum and caring for children, ages 2 through
6. Under the supervision of the Director and in close collaboration with the Teachers, the Aide may provide classroom support, including setting up age-appropriate learning stations and engaging students in educational activities. The starting pay for this position is $17.00 per hour.
Specific Duties
- The Teacher's Aide will report directly to the Director and work closely with the preschool Teachers. All tasks will be performed under the guidance and direction of the Teacher or Director at all times and may include:
- Supervising children ages 2 to 6 years old and interacting with families in a professional and courteous manner
- Assisting teachers with creating and facilitating developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Addressing children's physical, emotional, social and academic needs as appropriate
