Job Description Summary

To provide a safe and secure campus environment. Facilitate and encourage respect for the law, campus safety, and institutional policy. Provide a safe environment to foster student learning and development.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Customer Service.
  • Technology Background (computer).
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Must be willing to work any shift, hours, weekends and holidays.
  • 1 year experience in security in a college/university setting or equivalent on-the-job experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 plus year experience in safety or security.
  • Experience in college university setting.
  • Familiar with security/fire alarms, two way radios, computers, tablets,
  • PC 832 certification.
  • POST Basic Academy certificate.
