Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire an Experienced Accountant in La Vista, Nebraska!
Experienced Accountant$80,000-$90,000 base salary (depending on experience)
La Vista, NE (4 days on‑site, 1 remote)

- Manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and delivering accurate financial results.
- Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity, investigate variances, and communicate key financial insights to leadership.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audit support by preparing documentation, responding to requests, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and support business initiatives through operational enhancements.
- 1+ years of Big 4 or Large Public Company Experience (Required)
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Required)
- CPA or progress toward CPA (Preferred)
