Vaco has partnered with an exciting company to hire a Senior Accountant in La Vista, Nebraska!
Senior Accountant$100,000-$105,000 base salary (depending on experience)
La Vista, NE (4 days on-site, 1 remote)

- Lead the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial results, and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Review balance sheet and income statement activity, investigate variances, and communicate key financial insights to support decision-making.
- Coordinate external audit activities by providing timely documentation, collaborating with auditors, and maintaining a strong internal control environment.
- Partner with business leaders on financial reporting, operational initiatives, system implementations, and strategic projects, including acquisitions and process enhancements.
- Drive accounting process improvements through automation and control enhancements while mentoring junior team members and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
- 2+ years of Big 4 or Large Public Company Experience (Required)
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Required)
- CPA or progress toward CPA (Preferred)
