Mechanical Estimator

The Waldinger Corporation has an opportunity for a qualified Mechanical Construction Estimator in our Omaha, NE Office.

Conducts high‑level estimation and leads the bidding process for small to mid‑scale construction projects.

• Estimates: prepares and assembles estimates within the department, delegating estimating duties to engineers as required to maintain the bid schedule.
• Database Management: maintains a database of project history and results, ensuring accuracy and integrity of system software, providing all users with updated information.
• Procedures: develops conceptual plans and specification bid procedures and standards to improve consistency and efficiency of the estimating process.
• Client Bid Management: develops successful client relationships, markets company products and services, solicits bid schedules from general contractors.

• 0‑2 years of experience estimating construction projects.
• Associate's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or completion of a Technical Training Program.
• No travel.
