Special Education Preschool Paraprofessional - Parkview Heights Elementary School

Part-Time - 6 hours per day / Monday through Friday

Job Summary: Assists the Special Education Preschool Instructor to offer structure and assist in classroom management. This role may include assistance for students with disabilities.

Experience: Working with children, empathy for students with special needs, basic computer skills, reliable, punctual, patient and understanding. Able to communicate effectively with students and staff.

Qualifications: Willingness to complete district required training or has met the following: A minimum of 12 semester hours of undergraduate credit in Child Development/Early Childhood Education or the equivalent, or an Associate Degree with 48 hours of post-secondary credit at a college, university, or community college.
