Project Engineer – Engineer Real-World Solutions That Move Industries Forward
Location:
York, Nebraska
Employment Type:
Full-Time
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Perform engineering design evaluations and provide technical support to design staff, Project Managers, and Application Engineers.
- Work independently and collaborate with teams on problem‑solving.
- Develop preliminary project details, including process validation, design constraints, and piping layouts.
- Provide engineering calculations and validations (filter sizing, stress analysis, blower sizing, forces, etc.).
- Conduct new component research and validation.
- Support electrical specifications (distribution, classified areas, instrumentation).
- Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical designers to close design gaps and ensure standards.
- Confirm that critical measurements and requirements are met.
- Contribute to complex portions of projects with autonomy and expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, machine design, and 3‑D/2‑D modeling tools.
- Ability to support design direction with calculations and engineering judgment.
- Skilled communicator with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams; familiarity with Solid Works or other CAD software desired.
- A mindset for precision, ownership, and problem‑solving.

Physical Requirements
- Travel required 5–10%, valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently when working with equipment.
