Overview

Hemphill has been exclusively engaged by a well-known, financially stable, incredibly profitable, and growing Nebraska-based organization that is on the cusp of impressive expansion and searching for an experienced accounting leader to join their team as a Corporate Controller. You will report directly to an intelligent, measured CFO who is eager to fully empower you to take ownership of all aspects of accounting, while partnering closely with him and other members of the executive leadership team on strategy, planning, systems optimization, and M&A.

• We are looking for an individual who takes pride in being an excellent leader. We are searching for an individual with a knack for building and developing strong teams, outlining what needs to be done, then empowering team members to deliver with ownership rather than overseeing each step of the way.
• Leverage your exposure to accounting operations while taking accountability for and overseeing accounts payable, treasury and cash management, the month-end close process, financial controls, financial reporting, and budget-to-actual analysis. You will also take ownership of the annual financial audit (Big 4 CPA firm).
• Work closely with the VP of Finance, CFO, and other operational leaders to connect the dots between financial outcomes and business operations. We are searching for someone with strong accounting acumen who is also operationally minded with good common business sense.
• Make a deep impact across the entire company - you will be pulled into key decisions with the executive team and have a “seat at the table” as you grow with the company.
