DescriptionOverview of Position:
Streck isrecruitingaBlood Collection Tube Machine Operatorto work on ourLabeling Teamthis summer. This position is responsible forassistingwith all operations associated with the labeling of blood collection tubes (BCT). Perform BCT labeling tasks as defined in departmental work instructions in support of approved schedules.
The position is also responsible for performing other duties as assigned by management.
The Primary
Responsibilities include:
- Strict adherence to established
Quality Systems as they pertain to manufacturing activities. - Comply withall departmental and company safety guidelines and regulations.
- Label BCT tubes according to work instructions and regulatory requirements tomaintainproduct quality and compliance.
- Maintain clean and organized conditions throughout daily operations.
- Inspect and ensuretheacceptability of allcomponentmaterials prior to use.
- Set up and prepare BCT labeling materials.
- Operate equipment, make appropriate adjustments during the production run, and repackage BCT according to work instructions.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or GED education level required.
- Must be dependable, well organized, andpossesseffective written and verbalcommunicationskills.
Work Schedule:
- 8-hourdays – Monday through Friday flexible between8:00am-4:30 pm
Dress Code Requirements:
- Casual – jeans and t-shirt
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Medium work exerting up to50pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to10poundsof force frequently, and/or upto 10 poundsof force constantly to move objects.
- Will be on feet 8hr/day, Standing and Walking
