Responsible for designing, building, and enabling enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. This role focuses on applied generative AI, including agent development, prompting, and workflow design, with an emphasis on data readiness, enablement, and knowledge sharing. The AI Solutions Engineer partners closely with the Director of IT to execute Streck's AI Strategy, ensure underlying data is clean, reliable, and suitable for AI use, and build enterprise AI agents.
This role collaborates with data and business teams to translate business needs into governed, high-impact AI solutions.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience working with generative AI tools, including prompt engineering and agent-based solutions.
* Experience designing or supporting business workflows, automation, or decision-support systems.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
Technical Competencies* Experience with generative AI platforms and tools, preferably Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio.
* Strong understanding of prompt engineering, agent behavior, and human-in-the-loop AI design.
* Strong understanding of data quality, data readiness, and the relationship between data models and AI-enabled solutions.
* Ability to design AI solutions with appropriate security, data protection, and access controls in mind.
* Ability to design and support AI-enabled workflows that integrate with existing business processes.
* Ability to document AI solutions, workflows, and best practices clearly and effectively.
* Ability to work effectively with IT and business teams to support solution deployment and adoption.
Work Environment and TravelThe worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions typical of office work. Travel demands for this position are estimated up to 5%. If travel is required, this travel may include customer visits, events/trade shows, and presentations primarily throughout Domestic US or International regions. Employees must comply with travel recommendations and all applicable orders.
