This is a full-time, on‑site role located in La Vista, NE, for a Lateral Police Officer. Responsibilities include performing law enforcement duties such as patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, enforcing laws and ordinances, conducting criminal investigations, securing and processing evidence, completing reports, and ensuring public safety. The role requires maintaining a high level of professionalism while fostering trust and collaboration within the community.

• Comprehensive knowledge and expertise in Police Operations, Law Enforcement practices, and upholding public safety standards.
• Experience with Criminal Investigations and handling Evidence in accordance with legal protocols and procedures.
• Strong ability to perform duties related to Police and Criminal Investigations with an emphasis on community engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills to handle complex situations.
• Certifications or previous experience as a Police Officer in good standing are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of relevant state and local laws and policies.
• Completion of law enforcement training and eligibility to meet Nebraska state requirements for a lateral officer.
