Local Coordinator to Exchange Students

Overview

Join Education Travel & Culture (ETC) as a Local Coordinator to Exchange Students. ETC provides inbound and outbound program opportunities for students to study and live in the United States or abroad. ETC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students and host families through a network of local coordinators and dedicated office staff.

• Identify, recruit and screen qualified host families. ETC provides training on proven methods and all marketing materials for recruiting.
• Establish and nurture relationships with potential host families, school administrators, and community influencers.
• Engage in person with exchange students, host families, and local high schools, including monthly meetings, group activities, and orientations. ETC provides comprehensive training to support working with students and families.
• Represent and promote ETC in your community through social media, email marketing, press releases, local media, and other avenues.

• This is an independent contractor position that is family-friendly, flexible, and complements a busy schedule (10-20 Hours/Month). Much of the work can be from home and on your own schedule.
• Annual performance-based incentive trips including international travel opportunities.
• Potential for growth into a management position.
• Learn about a new culture while working alongside high-school exchange students and their host families.
• Opportunity to mentor and support exchange students and volunteer families throughout the year.

• Up to $1,700 (including student placement and oversight pay) per full year student, plus bonuses and travel incentives.
• As an independent contractor, you can earn supplemental income based on successful host family recruitment and supporting students in the USA.
• Ability to earn various bonuses and incentives throughout the year.
• Local Coordinators active with ETC for 2+ years can earn additional compensation for recruitment and supervision.
• Possible qualification for the 5–7 day ETC Annual Travel Incentive Trip (locations in the past include Italy, Cozumel, Maui, Germany, Costa Rica, Spain, Cancun, Japan, and more).

• Applicants must have the ability to drive for in-person visits.
• Live within 75 miles of listed city.
• Have a valid Driver's License.
