A career as an Investment Analyst at National Bank Financial – Wealth Management means that you’ll be part of a team of 1,000 investment advisors in the 5th largest investment brokerage firm in Canada. In this position, you’ll use your analytical mind and passion for finance to have a positive impact on our organization. Your role is to bring value to our clients by strategically managing their investments within the Gagnon Advisory Group located in Lac-Mégantic.

We are also open to considering candidates based in Sherbrooke or the Chaudière‑Appalaches region.

Your job
  • Analyze and track individual stocks, exchange‑traded funds, investment funds and other securities that may be included in investment portfolios.
  • Create and regularly update model portfolios.
  • Track portfolio performance.
  • Produce financial reports.
  • Stay up to date on the latest economic news.
  • Help managers prepare recommendations for new clients.
  • Contribute actively to the preparation of bi‑monthly investment committee meetings.

You’ll join a team of portfolio managers where you’ll play an essential role.

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in the securities industry.
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course.
  • CFA and/or CIM designation.
  • Knowledge of Croesus 8+ asset.
