Position: Mechanical Excavator Operator Role
Become a key player in Pomerleau's civil engineering projects as a mechanical excavator operator. Work on exciting large-scale construction sites, delivering high-quality excavation services.

Your role as an excavator operator is vital for safely preparing building foundations, trenching, and laying crucial infrastructure. Collaboration is essential as you will actively engage with team members and ensure workflow efficiency. You will adhere to safety regulations while maintaining equipment and contributing to daily operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform excavation and land preparation tasks daily

• Ensure compliance with safety measures and standards

• Collaborate and communicate with trades on-site

• Maintain functionality and cleanliness of equipment

• Undertake additional operational tasks as necessary

Requirements:

• Valid CCQ excavator operator card is essential

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles

• Valid Class 5 driver's license required

• DEP diploma in excavator operation or equivalent

• Familiarity with Trimble GPS systems preferred
