Pet Vet Care Centers' Olympia Pet Emergency – Care Coordinator – Day Shift

We are seeking a Care Coordinator to join our team in Olympia, Washington. This role supports our high‑performing, emergency hospital by handling administrative and customer service tasks, and providing essential support to the team.

Position Overview

As a Care Coordinator, you will contribute to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Your duties include managing lobby flow, providing customer service, assisting with medical emergencies, processing data, financial transactions, and supporting retail sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent customer service in‑person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations.
  • Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
  • Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being.
  • Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
  • Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
  • Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
  • Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions.
Qualifications (Required)
  • 2+ years in veterinary medicine.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Veterinary emergency experience.
Schedule
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
  • Must be flexible to the hospital's staffing/scheduling needs.

Pay Range

$18 - $18 USD.
