Financial Manager, Corporate Finance
We are hiring at Alliance Enterprises for an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to join our Professional Services team in the US. The Finance Manager will coordinate and manage period‑end close, budgeting/forecasting, statutory compliance and reporting, and ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis, as well as lead projects impacting the accounting function and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Management- Monitor and analyze portfolio company performance to drive strategic decisions.
- Develop KPI frameworks to assess financial health and identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews for senior leadership.
- Ensure positive cash flow and long‑term profitability across the organization.
- Oversee financial close processes, including reporting and compliance.
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Establish financial internal controls and process optimization strategies.
- Lead the implementation of Net Suite ERP and other automation initiatives.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CFA is an asset)
- 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A (Big 4 or consulting firm experience is a plus)
- Experience in a management role is required
- Strong understanding of U.S. state government operations, procurement/payment cycles, and comptroller responsibilities
- Ability to manage risks by ensuring effective and efficient internal controls are maintained without compromising operational efficiency and flexibility
- Proven ability to proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally across finance, operations, and external stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce (CRM or financial workflows) is considered an asset
- Experience analyzing large P&L trends, forecasting, and identifying drivers of financial performance
- Working knowledge of Oracle Net Suite ERP (or similar) is considered an asset
- Ability to visualize efficient processes and implement scalable solutions
- Excellent organizational skills and time management with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
