Description

O Bee Credit Union is hiring a bilingual Indirect Loan Processor to join our amazing team. This is a full‑time role that plays a vital part in supporting our mission, our members, and our one‑of‑a‑kind company culture.

What You’ll Do

As our Indirect Loan Processor, you will be the main point of contact for dealerships, branches, and merchants during business hours, auditing and funding indirect loans. Your primary responsibilities will be to work with members that need Spanish interpreters, work with vendor success teams to ensure turnaround times are upheld, and assist branches with any questions or concerns for indirect loans.

  • Pay Range: $22.12–$33.18 per hour (target range $22.12–$27.65 per hour). As a Spanish speaker, you’ll also earn a monthly $250 incentive.

Responsibilities
  • Act in accordance with credit union policies and procedures as well as regulatory state and federal requirements.
  • Maintain an in‑depth understanding of laws and regulations pertaining to financial institutions, consumer, anti‑money laundering, and lending compliance requirements.
  • Process loan document requests, field loan servicing calls/questions, and other lending‑related tasks in the credit union determined to be specialty.
  • Ensure adequate and complete documentation is on file for loans, disclosure requirements, and ensure all applicable deadlines are met.
  • Work cooperatively with and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with auto dealerships, merchants, origination system, customers and members through effective communication. Prioritize and monitor daily workflow to ensure all loans are being worked on in accordance with timelines and expectations.
  • Process mail and post payments/payoffs.
  • Responsible for auditing and funding indirect loans to include but not limited to auto, RV, boat, powersports, personal loans, home improvement, credit card, and/or solar loans. Must be able to read through and understand lending documents, identify, and correct errors and issues, and provide excellent member service.
  • Assist members with loan payoffs, payment corrections, answer general questions regarding their existing loans, and address any amortization issues.
  • Assist with the gathering and review of documentation for audits or examinations.
  • Verify income calculations and other documentation matches application.
  • Book and fund loans, complete DOL or UCC documentation. Work closely with outside vendors.
  • Respond to the needs of indirect lending, dealerships and staff.
Requirements
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
  • At least one year of credit union or banking experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills displaying attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize based on due dates and potential risks to the credit union.
  • Ability to analyze errors and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Proficient spreadsheet and word processing experience.
  • Familiarity with regulations, policies, and procedures for lending and the financial services industry.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
