Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Lacey, Washington, starting ASAP.

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

• Doctorate degree in physical therapy
• Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome
• Other certifications or licenses as required for this position

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient histories
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain
• Operate specialized physical therapy equipment and modalities safely and effectively
• Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control protocols and safety guidelines
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home‑based settings
• Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of practice

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills
• English literacy and written communication competence
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills
• Physical abilities: stationary positions, moving about, moving equipment (50‑100 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a positive attitude
• Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, assisting with procedures, using equipment
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, occasional close supervision, handle irregular activity schedules, maintain concentration to detail
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
