Emergency Services Technician Lab

Shift: Nights (18:00 - 06:30),
Schedule:
12‑hour shifts.
Position Summary:
The Emergency Services Technician Lab is an exciting opportunity on the Multi Care Off‑Campus Emergency Department team, offering a supportive role assisting practitioners with patient care and executing administrative and clinical procedures. You will work in collaboration to ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience.
- Perform direct patient care as directed.
- Engage critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
- Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
- Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to obtain Washington State certification/licensure as a MA‑P and NA‑R within 120 days of placement in the position.
- Washington State C.N.A will substitute for the NA‑R; MA‑C will substitute for the MA‑P, NA‑R, and C.N.A certification/licensure.
- Experience with phlebotomy and initiation of EKG;
Medical Assistant – Phlebotomist certification preferred. - Previous experience as a CNA, NA‑R, corpsman, EMT or phlebotomist in an emergency department, pre‑hospital, or acute care setting within the last three years.
- Current BLS Certification.
Pay Scale: $24.78 – $37.71 USD, depending on skill set, level of experience, and certification(s).
