The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission seeks an Enterprise Risk Manager to direct agency-wide efforts to identify, assess, and reduce risk in accordance with statute. The role provides consultation to executive leadership on risk issues, leads tort claims resolution efforts with the Attorney General's Office, and drives process efficiency initiatives across the agency. This position serves the Business Support Services Division and requires collaboration with leadership, staff, attorneys, and external agencies.
Keyqualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field; 3 years' professional experience in risk management and risk mitigation
- Valid unrestricted driver's license (corrective lenses exception) and ability to travel statewide
- Enterprise Risk Management with strategic direction and executive consultation capabilities
- Legal Regulatory Compliance expertise in state laws, RCW, and administrative codes
- Litigation Claim Management experience including tort investigation and settlement coordination
- Contractual Risk Transfer and Insurance management skills for policy evaluation and selection
