This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in outpatient oncology infusion, providing chemotherapy and infusion therapy to cancer patients while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires knowledge of oncology nursing, venous access devices, and pain management. It offers part-time, on-site work with comprehensive benefits at Providence Centralia Hospital in Lacey, WA.
Description The outpatient infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.
- Administer chemotherapy, infusion therapy, and blood products to patients.
- Manage venous access devices, including port‑a‑caths.
- Assess patients, apply the nursing process, and coordinate interdisciplinary intervention.
- Monitor and manage side effects and pain.
- Provide patient education and support.
Required Qualifications:
- Nursing degree/diploma.
- Washington Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire).
- 2 years Nursing experience.
- 2 years Oncology experience.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree. - Preferred:
Chemotherapy administration experience.

- Pay Range: $46.54 – $72.26.
- Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
