Position:
Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) – Posting #27416.
Hourly Rate: $36.04 - $44.44;
Annual Salary: $74,958.09 - $92,444.35 (depending on license/experience).
Full-time Nurse Manager position available for our Lacey Medical Clinic, may also work at the Thurston County Walk In Clinic. Sea Mar Community Health Centers is accredited by The Joint Commission and recognized by the National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) level III.
The Nurse Manager works in conjunction with Health Center Administrator and Clinical Director in daily operations of the clinic, overseeing clinical and administrative supervision of all nursing personnel. Ideal candidates will be empathetic, calm, passionate, and motivated to make a difference, know the Social Determinants of health and its application in Community Health Care, and differ from other healthcare facilities. Candidates must be an RN or LPN.
Responsibilities- Manage and evaluate approximately 10-12 Medical Assistants (MA), including MA supervisors.
- Implement nursing policies and procedures with the Medical Director and Health Center Administrator to meet Sea Mar’s standards, philosophy, and governmental regulations.
- Perform monthly audits (NPSG audits, etc.) and demonstrate knowledge of State and Federal Regulations as they apply to health centers or hospitals.
- Focus clinic efforts on quality measures, HEDIS, and Meaningful Use standards.
- Provide annual MA trainings (infection control, sterilization techniques, etc.).
- Lead hiring efforts for any MAs and participate in hiring other support staff.
- Oversee and maintain a patient care system of nurse-only visits.
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with an active RN or BSN license in the state of Washington.
- LPNs considered if they possess equivalent experience to satisfy the qualifications.
- Completion of state mandated HIV education.
- Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hire date and maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment.
- Excellent communication, listening, and team building abilities.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and self‑motivated attitude.
