Plasma Center Nurse – LPN

Job Summary

The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) reports to the Plasma Center Manager and supports plasma center operations, evaluating donor eligibility, managing adverse events, reviewing laboratory results, and coordinating medical support.

• Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and SPE.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and refer to occupational health/ER as needed.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized.
• Provide center‑level support for environmental, health and safety (EHS).

• High school diploma or equivalent with graduate–equivalent recognized nursing program.
• License or certification in the state of assignment: LPN or LVN.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State‑specific IV therapy training.
• Completed FDA‑approved training for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years clinical or hospital experience.

Hourly wage range: $28.16 – $38.72.
