Cashier Part Time

Your job as a cashier is to ensure every customer leaves our stores satisfied. While most of your time will be spent at the register, you may also assist with other activities such as helping other departments, stocking shelves, or moving carts.

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self‑checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods
• Experience using a computer, including inputting and editing information
• Can lift 10 lbs unassisted or 15 lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales‑related licensure or registration if required by state law

• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills

This role does not require regular travel; occasional travel may be required for meetings, training, or support of neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location. Employees may work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Lifting guidelines limit single lifts to 75 lbs; team lifts start at 75 lbs or when needed. Powered equipment may be used with proper training.
