Paraprofessional Position

Paraprofessional supporting students in school settings for a 36-week contract in Laconia, NH. Provides mobility assistance, communication support, and individualized classroom plans. Works directly with teachers to maintain a safe learning environment.

• Assist students with mobility and daily needs, including lift-assisted transfers.
• Support students in non-verbal communication and behavioral cues to facilitate inclusion.
• Implement individualized classroom or activity plans in collaboration with teachers and staff.
• Aid classroom management and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
• Document student progress and communicate effectively with team members and families.

• Ability to lift and assist with wheelchairs.
• Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility.
• Comfortable working with non-verbal individuals.
• Background check required.
