The City of Laconia is seeking a responsible individual to serve in the position of Engineering Technician. Typical duties involve surveying, project layout, drafting, estimating and limited design for the City Engineering Office. This position requires considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Civil Engineering / Surveying and knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in Public Works activities.
Starting Salary Range $28.50 - $30.23
Minimum qualifications include two years of post-secondary level education or training in engineering/surveying or related fields plus four years experience OR a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities. CAD and GIS experience is highly desirable.
