Field Services Engineer

Work on sophisticated, ultra-precision machinery.

We're working with a global technology business designing and manufacturing highly specialised machinery used across semiconductor, optics, aerospace and other advanced manufacturing industries
.

They're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Swanzey, NH.

You’ll spend around 60-75% of your time travelling to customer sites
, primarily across the Northeast and East Coast, installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and servicing complex electromechanical equipment. There will also be occasional international travel.

When you’re back in Swanzey, you’ll be involved in machine build, assembly, rebuilds, depot service and applications
, giving you exposure well beyond traditional field service.

• Electrical/electronics, electromechanical or mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with complex machinery, equipment or automation.
• Customer-facing and confident working independently.
• Well organised and comfortable with significant travel.
• Engineering degree preferred, but strong practical experience will be considered.

The first few months will be predominantly site-based training
, giving you the opportunity to properly learn the equipment and technology before taking on the full travel schedule.
