Full-Time Housekeeper

Full-Time Housekeeper (37.5 Hours/Week) Includes Every Other Weekend St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center | Laconia, NH

St. Francis Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a 51-bed skilled nursing facility in Laconia, NH, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. We provide short- and long-term care in a warm, supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

• Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
• Includes every other weekend

• Perform daily housekeeping duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and work assignments.
• Maintain resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces in a clean, safe, and comfortable condition.
• Coordinate housekeeping activities with nursing staff when working in resident care areas.
• Clean and disinfect furnishings, fixtures, heating/cooling units, and other surfaces using approved cleaning solutions.
• Complete thorough room cleaning following resident discharges, transfers, and vacancy preparation.
• Collect and dispose of trash according to facility sanitation procedures.
• Restock housekeeping supplies and notify supervisors of inventory needs.
• Ensure housekeeping equipment, tools, and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and support residents' rights and dignity.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare, hospitality, or a related setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
