Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, this position is responsible for the preparation and assembly of tubes and various metal components for furnace cycles. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Reads work orders, follows production drawings, method sheets, and operating procedures to run production volume through vacuum furnace cycles.
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding devices.
- Stake, resist, tack, cement, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Adjusts materials from components to achieve specified dimensional characteristics.
- Loads and unloads furnace, establishes correct settings, and makes necessary adjustments to ensure proper furnace operation.
- Performs tests and inspections to ensure proper production specifications and standards are met.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
- Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Consistently, regularly, and dependably arrives at work and on time.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.

- Verifies and maintains accuracy of routers and other applicable documents for completeness.
- Follows all company policies, safety policies, and procedures, and practices safe work habits, such as using proper PPE, safe lifting techniques, and building security.
- Attends all scheduled meetings and trainings.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent GED; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
