Job Description & How to Apply Below
You start your shift with a blueprint and a plan. You review the print, load the correct NC program, and select the right combination of expendable and permanent tooling for the job. After dialing in offsets on the turning center, you cut the first piece and verify dimensions with micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Once the part meets every requirement on the print, you document first-piece and in-process checks on the Job Traveler and related paperwork.
As the run progresses, you keep production moving—logging setup and run times and other key metrics in the E-2 reporting system, and capturing any scrap or rework labor as it occurs. You maintain an orderly workstation, managing chips and excess material responsibly. When Internal Auditors stop by for Quality Management System (QMS) audits, you provide clear, accurate records and support. Throughout the day, you live the company’s Quality Policies and Objectives and suggest improvements that make the next run even better.

Set up and machine parts to exacting customer specifications using assigned CNC and/or manual equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide equipment, tooling, and NC program choices

Track and report both setup and production scrap, along with rework labor
Support Internal Auditors during QMS audits with accurate records and process knowledge
Keep the work area clean and organized, including proper chip and material disposal
Apply Quality Policies and Objectives; contribute to continuous improvement
What you bring
Hands-on experience operating machining equipment (CNC and/or manual, depending on assignment)
Fluent blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
Proficiency with precision metrology (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)Basic computer literacy for production reporting (E-2 or similar)
Sharp attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
