Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing Endocrinology practice.

This role offers the opportunity to care for patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and more. A strong emphasis is placed on patient education, particularly in diabetes self-management and lifestyle interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients with endocrine conditions.

• Manage patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, including insulin management and diabetes education.

• Conduct follow-up visits and monitor lab/imaging results to adjust care plans as needed.

• Collaborate with endocrinologists, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.

• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medication use, and lifestyle changes.

• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and clinical development initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in [State Name], or eligibility for licensure.

• Prior experience in endocrinology, internal medicine, or primary care is strongly preferred.

• Certification in diabetes education (CDE/CDCES) is a plus but not required.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

• Passion for patient-centered care and education.
