- Prior successful managerial experience managing EDs, preferably across multiple sites
- Experience mentoring new leaders and creating standard work focused on nursing practice and quality improvement
- Union experience preferred
Job Description:
This role serves as ED Interim Nurse Manager for Laconia & Franklin hospitals. Responsibilities include providing leadership for the 32-bed Laconia ED and 8-bed Franklin ED (Critical Access), overseeing day-to-day operations, stabilizing and coordinating patient care, and supporting nursing staff across shifts. Leadership for the Laconia 6-bed locked acute psych unit is handled separately by Behavioral Health. The Nurse Manager must have strong hands‑on ED skills to support higher acuity cases and facilitate quality improvement initiatives.

- Strong ED clinical and leadership skills
- Ability to mentor and grow nursing leaders across shifts and sites
- Knowledge of nursing practice standards and quality improvement principles
- EMR:
Cerner experience preferred but not required - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
