Registered Nurse - Psychiatric (Nursing)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatric Nursing. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care in a supportive environment, focused on mental health and well-being.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor patients' behavior and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and provide education on their effects and uses.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and patient education sessions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

• Current and active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

The Registered Nurse may be required to float to other facilities within the region as needed.

This position is located in Laconia, NH.
