Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring advanced telemetry experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

• Active NH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Advanced telemetry experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Updated resume documenting travel experience
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses required
• 2-3 professional references required (manager or charge RN, no peers/coworkers)

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, every other weekend
• 3 shifts per week with a 36-hour weekly guarantee
• May float to the psych annex (orientation provided) and to lower acuity units in addition to Med Surg/Tele
• May be requested to float to other Concord Hospital campuses on an emergency basis only
• No on-call requirements
• Cardizem and insulin drips (for hyperglycemia, not DKA) and phenobarbital administered on the unit
• Provide Med/Surg Telemetry nursing care with cross-training to psych annex and lower acuity units
• Holiday coverage required
• Weekly orientation provided
• First-time travelers with strong experience will be considered
• Local candidates accepted at a local rate within 50 miles of the facility
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• RTO must be submitted for consideration
