American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring NH or compact RN licensure and pediatric adaptability.

• Emergency Department setting treating patients from newborn to geriatric (no OB cases)
• 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 3 shifts per week
• Holiday coverage required
• May be required to float to an affiliated hospital location
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Candidates without pediatric experience will be considered if willing to be trained
• Nursys report and license verification required for consideration

• Care for a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatric patients
• Weekly orientation provided
• Perm staff may return as a traveler after a 12-month break in service
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at the local rate

The $2,356 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
