Supplier Quality Representative - DSQR; Aerospace

Summary

Under the general direction of the Quality Supervisor, the Designated Supplier Quality Representative Apprentice is responsible for ensuring compliance to customer and STS drawings. Reviews and creates First Article Inspection Reports that are in compliance with customer & AS9102 requirements. • Meets/exceeds (Demonstrates Mastery) all the provisions of level III inspector
• Possesses an expert-level understanding of internal manufacturing processes
• Possesses an expert-level understanding of mechanical inspection
• Advanced knowledge of OSP acceptance criteria (silver plate, anodize, epoxy paints, DFL, etc.)
• Expert level skill/experience working with metrology equipment
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to prepare and execute AS 9102 FAI’s
• Interfaces and or be a member of the First Article Inspection Report, Action, Support Team
• Any other job‑related activities as directed
• Ability to train Level I/II/ Inspectors
• Shall obtain AS13001 in preparation for DSQR advancement

High School Diploma/Equivalent with 1‑3 years (min 6 months) previous experience as a Level II Inspector (or equivalent Mechanical Inspection experience). Associates degree/Certificate in a technical discipline may be used in place of experience.
