Job Description & How to Apply Below
A day in your life Morning begins at the surface plate: you verify calibration status, organize micrometers and calipers, and set up the optical comparator. A shipment arrives—receiving inspection kicks off with thread and plug gages, followed by documenting results in both computerized and manual logs. Midday, you run a First Article Inspection (FAI) per QMS and specific customer requirements, record results, and upload data to meet QMS data-gathering needs.
In the afternoon, a component flags out-of-tolerance—you partner with Project Engineers to disposition the discrepant material. Before sign-off, you perform a daily backup of quality data and prep for upcoming internal, customer, or third-party audits.
