The City of Laconia Department of Public Works is seeking an individual to perform general laboring responsibilities and to operate various pieces of light and heavy equipment. A Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake and Tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain one within six months, is required. The City will pay the cost of obtaining a CDL up to $5,500 for employees without a CDL.
PositionStarting Salary Range: $21.56 - $24.71
City benefits include health and dental insurance, NH Retirement System, uniform allowance, education stipend, winter maintenance stipend, compensation time and generous leave time. Friday is a half day during summer hours.
