Responsibilities- Interfaces directly with the customer and aircraft manufacturer, manufacturing and engineers to assist with engineering problems in all aspects of Aircraft FAL support.
- Reviews structural sub-assemblies and applicable drawings to assure conformance to requirements as required for installation and aircraft delivery issues.
- Acts as the primary interface during Air Framer collaborative DFI and DFMA activities. May participate in additional program milestone meetings as needed.
- Provides an engineering and manufacturing engineering perspective to all assigned Product Support Requests.
- Suggests design changes as needed, and communicates with other engineering groups (e.g. project engineers, certification engineers, etc.) to ensure proper compliance with regulatory, airframe, and Safran Seats procedural requirements.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is preferred or 6 years of directly related experience.
- Requires at least three years combined experience in product support, manufacturing or engineering functions.
- Two years related experience preferred.
- Must have proven ability to work well with customers or aircraft manufacturer and with all management levels under stressful situations, and the ability to communicate customer needs to all departments within the company in an efficient manner.
- Must have knowledge and experience in design, fabrication or assembly methods.
- Must be competent in dealing with blueprints, work modifications, MRP systems, and other engineering tools (3D Modeling, Auto-Cad/Pro-Engineer, CATIA, etc.).
- Must be proficient in job‑related computer activities.
- Knowledge of structural and mechanical properties preferred.
- Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.
