We are looking for a driven Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of custom manufacturing projects from initial handoff through final delivery. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role where you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams while serving as the primary point of contact for industry-leading data center customers. WhatYou'll Do
- Project Leadership
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from sales handoff through final delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor milestones, and ensure projects remain on time and within scope.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and communicate project updates to internal teams and customers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead customer meetings and manage technical submittals, approvals, and design revisions.
- Build long-term customer relationships through responsive communication and exceptional project execution.
- Monitor project scope and identify customer-driven changes or additional requirements.
- Support change order documentation and ensure scope modifications are properly tracked before work begins.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including approvals, revisions, RFIs, and project records.
- Review structural drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Ensure project deliverables meet applicable building codes, industry standards, and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience managing projects or coordinating cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, construction, or engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and technical specifications.
- Working knowledge of U.S. building codes and industry standards.
- 3-5 years of project management experience within manufacturing, structural systems, or construction.
- Experience supporting data center, structural steel, or industrial projects.
- Familiarity with CAD, Revit, or similar engineering software.
- Experience using project management platforms such as Asana, Procore, or comparable systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and driving projects to completion.
