Job Summary
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Driving a safe workplace by proactively reporting hazards, incidents, and near‑misses while consistently complying with all HSE standards, procedures, and required training.
- Upholding quality excellence through strict adherence to standard work, accurate process documentation, and timely quality checks that strengthen PFEP data integrity.
- Resolving material issues by partnering with Quality to disposition non‑conforming material quickly, protecting production flow and customer satisfaction.
- Optimizing delivery performance by managing part changes, ramp‑up/ramp‑down activities, and inventory readiness to meet global aftermarket demand while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
- Ensuring compliant part setup by coordinating with Purchasing and support teams to establish correct sourcing, initiate No Source Cases, and maintain full Hazmat compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Strengthening inventory health through bank‑build coordination, demand monitoring, planning parameter improvements, and root‑cause analysis that reduces E&O and supports smarter supply decisions.
- Building strong team alignment by communicating clearly across planning, purchasing, quality, and product management teams to ensure shared understanding and smooth execution of daily and strategic activities.
- Growing through continuous improvement by completing required training, contributing to safety, quality, and process‑flow projects, and remaining flexible to support evolving business needs.
- Clear, adaptive communication to deliver multi‑mode messages that fit the needs of planners, engineers, suppliers, and leadership, ensuring alignment across all supply‑chain activities.
- Customer‑focused decision making to build strong relationships, understand downstream impact, and ensure planning, scheduling, and change‑control actions support customer delivery requirements.
- Results‑driven execution to consistently meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and maintain performance under pressure while driving measurable improvements.
- Complexity and process mastery to interpret large, sometimes contradictory data sets; optimize work processes; and apply PFEP principles across master data, material flows, transport, and warehouse management.
- Advanced planning‑system capability to leverage the materials planning system as your primary tool—managing supply/demand, resolving exception messages, executing part‑change control, and maintaining a valid Master Production Schedule.
- KPI‑driven analytical judgment to interpret materials KPIs, understand customer impact, balance trade‑offs, and influence improvements in scheduling, inventory health, and overall supply‑chain performance.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and systemic issues impacting inventory accuracy.
- Perform root cause analysis for inventory variances related to production, receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities.
- Conduct physical investigations on the plant floor to trace parts, validate transactions, and observe processes contributing to inventory discrepancies.
- Reconcile system inventory to physical counts and support cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Partner cross‑departmentally (Operations, Warehouse, Planning, Quality, Engineering, Finance) to identify process gaps and breakdowns.
- Document findings and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve inventory controls.
- Support the development and improvement of standard work, procedures, and controls related to inventory management.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective actions and track sustained improvements in inventory accuracy.
