Ladson, SC Salary Range : $28 - $31 per hour (based on experience) Position :
Pipe Fitter Description :
Renfrow Industrial is seeking dependable and safety-focused Industrial Mechanics to support our mechanical crews on industrial and heavy commercial mechanical projects. This mid-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in the industrial mechanical trade.

- Monday through Thursday
- Typical 4x10 work schedule
- Overtime as required
- Install, align, and maintain industrial mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, conveyors, piping, process systems, and other mechanical components
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to the jobsite
- Perform pipe fitting, layout, equipment setting, and alignment
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness and follow all safety policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
- Ability to climb, balance, and work on active industrial jobsites
- Operate hand tools safely and maintain focus in changing environments
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and overhead cranes safely (when certified)
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems
- Follow all Renfrow Industrial and OSHA safety requirements
- Fabricate, fit, and install ASME-compliant process piping systems
- Interpret P&IDs and isometric drawings for spool layout and installation
- Perform hydrostatic testing and pressure testing procedures
- Coordinate weld sequencing and ensure proper pipe alignment and tolerances
