** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal procedures.

+ Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and supervisors.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Possess at least one year of security-related experience.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
