It’s for a 2nd shift associate. Monday through Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Clean driving record, box truck experience, forklift and warehouse. Sam can start taking interviews tomorrow by 11:00 am.

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Material Handler/Box Truck/Forklift in Ladson. Our client is a Logistics Company. The Material Handler/Box Truck/Forklift is responsible for moving products in the warehouse either manually or using equipment such as trucks or forklifts. Responsibilities may include pulling inventory, moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders, and unloading product deliveries by pulling them off trucks and putting them on shelves.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb. Must be able to lift to 35 pounds unassisted. Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day and overtime as required. Work involves operating material handling equipment, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing.

Working conditions are normal for a logistics/distribution center/warehouse environment including exposure to changing building temperatures.

All candidates MUST have experience driving a 26-Ft box truck, forklift experience, not afraid of heights, and able to lift 75lbs.

• Must have forklift experience, forklift certification and/or license.
• Must have handheld/truck mounted scanner experience.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Able to operate a pallet jack/ stand-up pallet.
• Able to operate tuggers.
• Able to drive 26ft box truck (no CDL required).
• Attention to detail and able to multi-task.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong understanding of cycle counting.
• Strong communication/interfacing skills.
• 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred.
