Openings are available for three Special Education Teachers for the 26-27 school year:

Available Opportunities:
  • PreK Special Education inclusion class:
    Up to 18 four-year-olds, both IEP and typical peers; supported by two paraprofessionals; operates on EST.
  • Elementary Special Education self-contained classes:
    Two roles (one on CST and one on EST); K-5 grades, 11 students or fewer; two paraprofessionals assist.
  • Secondary Special Education self-contained class:
    Grades 6-8 (possibly including 5th); 5-10 students; two paraprofessionals support; operates on EST.
Key Qualifications:
  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Experience with inclusion and/or self-contained classrooms preferred
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
What You'll Do:
  • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Differentiate instruction to meet a variety of learning needs
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, general educators, and parents
  • Maintain compliance and thorough documentation
