Bookkeeper

Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a conract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a professional with 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience supporting businesses across multiple industries. The Bookkeeper will handle day-to-day accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and help support overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Manage bank and credit card reconciliations

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close activities

+ Process payroll or support payroll functions as needed

+ Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and supporting documentation

+ Assist with account analysis and resolve discrepancies

+ Support accounting operations in fast-paced environments across various industries

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 2-3 years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience

+ Experience supporting accounting functions in multiple industries preferred

+ Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ Multiple ERP software experience

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

+ Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
