Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Liason between Principal and outside stakeholders from kick-off to installation; managing the project including client communication and budget.
• In support and alongside the Principal, collaborate with clients to understand and develop their vision for the project.
• Responsible for project pacing; moving the project along and managing the speed, accuracy and profitability of the project.
• Deliver the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors and all stakeholders.
• Attend site visits and work with architects, builders and project managers to execute plans efficiently.
• Create existing floor plans, proposed floor plans, electrical plans and furniture plans, elevations and FFE schedules.
• Create renderings with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Create all floor plans in accordance with EGD standards.
• Create mood boards, material boards/design presentations.
• Assist and oversee furniture sourcing, selection of finishes and all items necessary for the design of the space.
• Design custom furniture and millwork using Sketch Up.
• Record, organize and track vital project information.

• Strong millwork background.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing across all stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Sketch Up.
